What you'll be doing?

The Sales & Marketing team look after our customers and help them through one of the most important parts of their lives; finding and buying a new home. We pride ourselves on putting customers first, and sales and marketing are a key part in making that vision a reality. Our Sales & Marketing teams, both locally and nationally, work together to make sure we’re showing people the perfect home for them. There’s a wide variety of roles that include building and maintaining websites, running marketing campaigns, answering customers’ questions, being on hand to guide and support them through the purchase and personalisation of their brand new home; and of course making sure they’re happy after they’ve bought. Some of the team work on-site in sales and marketing showrooms, and others support from the office but at its core the team are here to make sure customers are getting what they need from us and finding the perfect home.

Reporting to the Part Exchange Manager or Sales Director, to manage all part exchange properties both on the buy in and sale on to our customers’ satisfaction, whilst endeavouring to make a profit on re-sales.

You will be expected to:

  • Update Internal computer systems
  • Manage solicitors with legal conveyance to purchase PX houses
  • Report to Sales Director, PX managers and site staff on progress of PX house purchase
  • Conduct home visits to discuss criteria with our customers, compromise on any issues of fixtures and fittings etc.
  • Check through solicitor’s legal reports including, searches, plans, section agreements, building regulations etc., for presenting to Sales director for sign off
  • Manage corporate agents on re-sale houses for updates and negotiate accordingly
  • Complete vacation reporting, check properties and take meter readings etc. ensure keys are passed onto agents
  • Arrange any remedial works needed on unsold properties, or any enhancement required to sell them and maintain them
  • Visit vacant properties on a regular basis to ensure safe and in good condition, book any garden tidies or cleans etc.

  • Excellent knowledge of the legal buying process
  • Negotiation, influencing and ‘deal-making’ skills
  • Self-disciplined with good time management
  • Good inter-personal skills and ability to deal with people from diverse backgrounds
  • Self-confidence, decisiveness, problem solving skills and a forward thinker
  • Full driving license
